Our Monthly Ordering Cycle
Our system uses a "monthly cut-off point" to manage orders efficiently. This means that all orders are grouped together within a specific timeframe each month for processing and delivery.
- Place Your Order Anytime: You can place your order at any point during the month.
- The Cut-Off Point: A specific date and time is set as the monthly cut-off.
Orders placed before the cut-off are included in that month's batch. These orders are processed together and scheduled for delivery later in the same month.
Orders placed after the cut-off will automatically roll over into the next month's cycle. They will then be included in the following month's batch and delivered the next month.
The Monthly cut-off point is the 10th of every month at 23:59

This yellow-gold polished consistent Plakat Dragon (Betta splendens) is part of our BettaElite UK Collection, hand-selected for health, colour clarity, and balanced finnage.
As with all Dragon bettas, pattern development may continue over time, making each fish visually unique. Its plakat form allows confident swimming and active behaviour.

Care Information:
Thrives in a heated, filtered aquarium with stable water parameters. Minimum tank size: 20 litres. Provide hiding spots, gentle filtration, and regular maintenance. High-quality diet supports colour retention, activity, and long-term health.
Packaging & Selection:
All fish are UK-bred or carefully selected, health-checked prior to dispatch. Equally we prepare orders with the same level of care by packing our betta fish in breathable bags and boxed with insulated packaging and heat packs.
Order Collection & Delivery
Our system uses a monthly cut-off point of the 10th at 23:59 to manage orders for our UK betta fish efficiently:
1. Orders for UK betta fish placed before the 10th at 23:59 are processed in the current month's batch and delivered later that same month.
2. Orders for UK betta fish placed after the 10th at 23:59 will automatically roll over into the following month's processing and delivery cycle.
3. You can place your order for UK betta fish anytime during the month.

Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes — you’ll get a confirmation email at the start of the delivery week with your assigned delivery day.
How do I track my delivery?
You’ll receive tracking information by email when your order is dispatched and a text message when your delivery is next on route. Please ensure someone is available to receive it.
How are orders packed?
Orders are shipped in insulated packaging with heat or cool packs as needed, sent by priority service via DX Express, APC Overnight or local contracted DEFRA approved transporters to maintain freshness and quality.
What is your Live Arrival Guarantee?
If any fish arrive DOA, send us a clear photo and video of the fish in the unopened bag within 2 hours of delivery. We’ll issue a refund for the fish value.
(Shipping costs are non-refundable. No returns accepted for biosecurity reasons.)

What should i do if my fish is unwell but not dead?
That is unfortunate but will not be protected under Live-on-arrival guarantee.
We recommend using our Health Checker to support the life and survival of your fish if caught early enough.
